Short and Sweet

It sucks. Majorly sucks.

There is nothing that we can do that will make it suck any less.

But there is a lot that we can do that can make it suck even more.

So we need to be careful.

Full of care that in our grief and in our anger, that we don't make things worse.

Most Arabs/Muslims/middle-easterners had nothing to do with this ca-trag-ify. Bombing countries, killing incents and imprisoning suspected terrorists isn't going to help.

Revenge never does.

To lift a Gandhi line 'An eye for an eye and the whole world is blind'.

The world will not be a better place if we create more martyrs. The world will not be a better place if the middle east has another reason to hate us.

So I give this counsel. My advice to myself and the rest of the world is to take a deep breather and think before taking any action.

Bring those who plotted this to justice.

Don't draw blood for its own sake.

If we do, we are no better then they who hijacked those planes. I can think of no greater injustice to those who died on September 11, 2001.
